Yes, I'll respond to all your wonderful comments on my Follow Friday post later! :)
Anyway, this is just a quick update on my novella At the End (which happens to be due in three days, and I still haven't finished it yet, let alone started editing). I'm on 11,284 words out of 20,000, by the way. *sadface*
I was stumbling across a particularly challenging chapter (do you ever get that feeling when you don't know what on earth you're doing writing something and about to give up and skip to the next part, just because it seems more appealing?) when I decided to procrastinate and surf some blogs. I found the wonderful Diary of a YA Author blog, and a link to an AMAZING website that helped me overcome writer's block! :O I tell you, that is one spectacular achievement indeed.
It's called Written Kitten, and it shows a picture of an adorable kitten every time you type 100, 200, 500, or 1,000 words, depending on what you set it to. It's a great incentive--yes, I love cute kittens, what better incentive could there be?
Whoever's stuck on their story or their NaNoWriMo project, go check it out :o)
Back to work.
